Workshop: Writing Crime

Tristan Bancks, author of the award-winning book ‘Two Wolves’ and ‘The Fall’ will be sharing some of his tips and tricks in writing a crime story.

This writing workshop is ideal for children who are 10 years old and above.

Become a Wheel World Wizard

Tuesday, 22 January 2019 (9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)

This event is great for young riders who want to improve their biking skills. The activity will include riding-based games and fun activities to help them learn the skills they need to have fun off-road and on the bikeways.

Ideal for kids from 7 to 10 years old, this is part of Council’s Active & Healthy and Cycling Brisbane programs.

Don’t forget to bring your own bike and helmet. Meeting point is by the shelter sheds near the playground, off Bedivere Street.

Sphero and the Enchanted Forest

Survivor Challenge

Who’s up for a great challenge? In the Survivor Challenge, teams will be competing in fun but challenging activities for clues or rewards to the next challenge. This game involves teamwork, strategy, and a little luck for teams to survive the challenge.

This activity is open for challengers up to 17 years old.

Zumba® Kids

Stay active and healthy whilst dancing your heart out. In this session, participants will learn different types of dance to modern music.

This fun ‘party workout’ is open for children 10-17 years old.

The Great Paper Plane Race
